DVD Players UK

After reading some reviews in the these forums i became very sceptical about buying a player online.

However, I would like to say that after purchasing a multiregion Toshiba SD210E Player from www.dvdplayers.co.uk that they exceeded all my expacxtions after delivering in less than 48 hours, providing responses in a timely manner and all at the lowest prices I could find on the net.

I would highly recommend this company to anybody.

Prey it does not got wrong - I bought a Cyberhome from them, which went wrong very quickly. DVD Players refused to help. They left me to sort the problem out directly with Cyberhome. DVD Players ignored all my emails for help. It took a long time to get my money back.

Like you I thought they gave the impression of a good company, as replies to emails making enquiries about the product were quick, as was delivery. But once they have your money, boy does that all change!

See the thread I started that related to this - www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/forums/thread.asp?Forum=222&Thread=79604

Amazing this....had a small problem with SVCD playback and they exchanged the unit with 48 hours.

You must have been unfortunate. I approached them calmly and spoke to a lady there who was very pleaseant.

Still get the thumbs up from me :)

My wife and I bought a Sony DAVS800 system from these guys. The system turned up the day after our order and they even called and helped with some initial setup queries.

Have several friends who have since purchased a number of players from them and have not heard of any problems to date.

I will continue to recommend this company to anybody.

Maybe they are changing their tune - they would have to after their treatment of me.

One good thing - they appear to have dropped the Cyberhome players.

I`m not surprised they`ve dropped Cyberhome players, I had two from WH Smith, both faulty. They too have dropped them.
Cyberhome got lots of great reviews though I can`t understand why, In my experience thay are c**p!!!

But I bet W H Smith happily gave you a refund and did not threaten you with court action!

I bought mine from Richer Sounds & I have no complaints at all. It is an Aiwa XD-DV480 & was a bargain! It is also multi region & plays RCE discs too. I guess that knowing they had a chain of stores in the High Street made me feel easier about ordering on-line.

Spin,

Sorry, but nothing you can say will convince me, or many others that the Cyberhome 528 is a POS of the worst sort, and the jokers who are contracted to be the Cyberhome service division in the UK are worse than incompetent.
