The Good News is it in Widescreen
the Bad news is play24 are warning you that you may have to pay duties and taxes once it reaches your country
why is this
cos they ship from jersey and belgium and the discs have to go through customs who may tax you. They used to reimburse you if u got hit before but it looks like they wont anymore. Their service is literally going down the drain in my opinion
There is nothing wrong with plays service, you cant expect them to pay you money back if you get charged tax on the item. Still never had a problem with them as has everyone I know who orders from them, hundreds of orders between us. If you want problems, try ordering from movietyme.
buy it from movietyme. they have it for £65. ive got the last two seasons from them and ive not been stung by customs yet!
how much can duties and taxes cost
Play`s service HAS deteriorated over the last year, probably due to the amount of orders they`re now getting. I regularly have to wait over a week for items that are labelled as `in stock`. This is opposed to two years ago when you`d order a disk one day and usually get it the next.
And as far as the tax thing goes, if they used to reimburse you and now don`t, the quality of their service IS slipping all the more.
Damn shame, they`ve made a few thousand quid out of me but I`m finding I`m using other sources more and more.
Here`s what I like about Play.Com -
you get home from work and there on the floor, beneath the letterbox, is your order, at a good price, and only a few days after ordering
Here`s what I don`t like about Tesco.Com -
you get home to find a Parcel Force postcard telling you you weren`t in at their convenience, that it`ll cost another 50p to pick up your parcel at your nearest sorting office, or you can drive 15 miles to THEM to collect, or wait 5 more days for them to deliver to an alternate (eg mum`s) address.
I`d support Play anyday.
