Page 1 of Advice about lost DVD please

I ordered Swordfish from DVDImport last month and according to their site, it was posted on the 25th October. I have not yet recieved it, but I have recieved other disks from them posted before and after Swordfish.

Any ideas what I can do, I have already written to them using their site messenger but have got no reply so far.

You may want to search this forum for "DVD Import" - there`s been some horror stories here about this bunch.

Calling them would help. I had a problem with a DVD and it took a whole month to come through. I then cancelled all my DVD Import orders.

I found that some discs took just a few days (My copy of swordfish) whereas others took maybe 3 - 4 weeks. I bet it does arrive soon, you just have to be patient.

If you use the little i on the banner you get an e-mail address which they seem to reply to quite quickly. I think it must be a FRENCH Canadian website as the English in their replies is not brilliant. I think they are trying - no pun intended - but they only seem to work from 10 - 4 so maybe it`s more of a hobby. I don`t know why I`m making excuses for them they messed my Platoon order up sending me the ordinary as opposed to special edition. They say they`ve sent me the right one now. Time will tell. Good luck with your order. I`m tempted to order Apocalypse Now Redux as I think their`s is the cheapest but will see what happens with Platoon.

OK, panic over, it arrived yesterday.

I have to say, it is rather good.
