DVDImport were one of my favourite overseas e-tailers, but since they have bought out soon I am more than a little worried now that they may be overstretching themselves.

Yeah - have you got a link? It seems a bit strange....

Since the demise of Soon, I`ve only been using Import (and am very pleased with them!) - I hope it won`t affect their service .... :/

According to various blog and forum rumblings, DVD Soon`s assets were supposed to have been taken on by Canadian Distribution Services, who in turn are apparently owned by the same numbered Quebec company as DVD Import.

I couldn`t tell you if there`s any truth in it. You know what the internet is like.

I am worried about DVD IMPORT.
I use them for all my £18+ R1 buys ,but they have shipped nothing to me in a month despite Alien Nation series released over 2 weeks ago,Nowhere man is also out,as is Twilight Zone season 5 and there are quite a few others.
I emailed them for a about a week and it wasn`t until I asked for a full refund of all my outstanding orders (several hundred pounds) that they replied and told me they were moving premises.
I am not convinced and they have 2 days to actuallt ship something to me before I contact VISA for them to get my cash back.
