Dont know if this id the right forum for this but just need some advice. Last year I took out a motor insurance policy with Screentrade (Lloyds Tsb). I did it through Ipoints.co.uk (similar to rpoints) and was awarded 400 points . These points are worth about £20 which can be redeemed at Amazon or Choices Direct etc. On my Ipoints statement the points show as `pending` and have done since Nov04. I contacted Ipoints and asked when I could spend them and was told that `they hadn`t been paid by screentrade so therefore I couldnt redeem the points` . Have sent them numerous follow up emails and even offered to speak to the promotions dept of screentrade but have had no replies from them apart from the initial one in November.
Phew!! nearly there. My question is does anyone know where I stand with regard to law on these type of companies like Ipints rpoints etc if they dont pay out?
If I can point you in the direction of :

You`ll see similar stories. In essence, iPoints will not pay out until they have been paid then you wait (as indeed you are doing).
Legally, I ain`t too sure but you are not on your own.
