Started off by ordering an LG3350 from dabs, after several months cancelled the order.
Tried Richer Sounds for the Aiwa 370 - none in stock
Tried QED.co.uk for the Aiwa 370 - none in stock
Tried Comet for the Aiwa 370, woo hoo. The order line took my details and told me I could pick it up at my local branch today. Today comes and I though I would phone the branch to make sure it was in (local does not mean nearby). Turns out all calls go through head office who eventually transferred me to the branch - who have no idea what im talking about and aren`t getting any deliveries today ?
Called up the head office to be told that my order number doesn`t exist, and no orders have been taken in my postcode.
Now i`m just so p***ed with the whole thing i think i`ll by by a DVD drive for my PC again

Comet.co.uk has the Aiwa XRDV370EZBC for sale at £199.99 + £3.25 delivery. Get it on the net.
BTW, I`m hardly surprised about the Comet store. Service Quality across the whole chain`s gone down the tubes. Currys and Dixons (oddly enough) are a hell of a lot more helpful.
