Page 1 of CD-WOW - late deliveries

Has anyone else experienced a bit of a lag with CD-WOW and new releases lately?
Recently I`ve ordered Shaun of the Dead and Obscure (PS2 title). SOTD was despatched a week after it`s general release, and Obscure, although in the shops today and shipping from the likes of Play.com last week, is still showing as a pre-release.

yeah, my sotd was delayed, as was my clerks: se , blazing saddles :se and starsky and hutch. Also, jersey girl and spaced were not dispatched until day of release.

it`s only their prices that keep me going to cd-wow, play may cost a few quid more but you do get it quicker

Was this so called clerks:se actually a scrappy full screen Australian edition DVD rather than the new 10th Anniversary 3-disc SE out on region 1 available at:

I was disappointed with CD Wow`s version when I received it almost 2 years ago, and I see it was still advertised as the SE until recently.

no it was the new 10th anniv ed.

In my opinion CD-WOW are THE best on-line retailer around!! The majority of discs arrive within 3 days of emailing you and if they run out of stock they inform you of the date they hope to have it back on stock, something that the other e-tailers do not do!!

I ordered `Hero` and it did not arrive within the stated delivery time. I phoned them to let them know and they asked me to wait another 3 days and let them know if it still had not arrived. It did not arrive and I phoned them to let them know. Another disc was despatched which did arrive (original one still in limbo).

Prices are low. choices are better (R3 discs available).

Ordered Scream Trilogy Box-Set from Play (£13.99 a bargain) which was in stock and now isn`t. Nothing from them to let me know when it might be back on stock.

If you`ve had problems with CD-WOW, then you must be extremely unlucky!!! ;)
