where shall i buy Region 1 disks from?? I heard that www.play247.com are good, the prices are also good buy is that a con ??? reply to me to tell me where to get cheap R1 disc`s ok!

Play247`s prices are crap but they take less then a week.
You can get the same DVD`s play247 sell for 17.99 for upto a fiver cheaper from DVD Box Office or DVD Dynamic.

although the last 2 sometimes take upto 2 weeks to deliver as they are sent from canada.

I wouldn`t say that play247 are crap. I have been using them and have ordered loads of discs from them. It`s a good service with free postage.

Most R1 titles range from 15.99 - 17.99 and are delivered within 3-4 days.

Yes, DVD box office are cheaper on the whole, about £13-£15, but Play247 are based in Jersey, so delivery is quicker, and also they accept Switch and Solo cards which is handy if you don`t have a credit card and aren`t prepared to wait for delivery from USA/Canada.

got to keep yer eye out for the bargains too.

The original highlander is being re-released with extra footage etc.. for around 12 quid at DVD dynamic where it will be 15 at box office and 18 at play.

most of plays r1`s are 17.99 a few are 15.99.

One thing about play247 is that being Jersey based Her Majesty`s Customs can`t touch you for a penny no matter how many DVDs you buy

But www.dvdboxoffice.com offer free p+p and they pack everything seperate. Customs can only be charged if the value of the pack is over £18 so since its packed seperately no matter how many you buy, They will come each in seperate packs and cos they`re cheap, it is unlikey that anyone one dvd will cost upwards of £18. Play247 is good for box sets though cos they cost more than £18

I`ve found Play 247 prices and service`s are first class I`ve bought dvd`s from Play for £17.99 and the same DVD at DVD Dynamic costs 32.41$`s which is around £22 and a long wait for it to arrive.
The longest I`ve waited for disc`s from Play247 is 3 days I usually get them in 2 days
I `ve used DVD Dynamic and DVD Box Office and delivery as always taken in excess oif 2 weeks more like 3 weeks
So I`ll stick with Play247 Thanks

if it was 32.41 it was probably in canadian dollars which would be around 15 quid. not 22 pound.

i get the same problem with DVD Box Office and Dynamic - prices were cheap but feck knwos what limbo my dvds went into before they made it here.

i`ll stick to play247.com and getting them in 3 days.
