Are there any DVD rental sites where I can get a free trial with no obligation?

As in I take a week/couple of weeks of free discs, then don`t have to pay and continue? Basically be tight with my well-earned cash? :-)

They all do free trials, the only one I have seen that don`t take your first months payment as a guarantee is ScreenSelect.

The rest, you pay your first month`s fee, then if you cancel within 14 days, they refund your money.

You gotta be 18 though

So you sorted yourself out with any of them?

You might want to go round them all getting your free trial and maybe getting 7 or 8 weeks free.

I might go for Screenselect when my pile of unwatched DVDs has slowly decreased...

You generally need a credit or debit card, Rik, irrespective of whether you`re taking the trial or not : won`t that cause a problem for you ?

Just signed up to video island, gave them debit card details and they haven`t taken payment as a deposit.

I think Rik has a "Solo" card, but by registering, he will be agreeing that he is 18, which will break their terms and conditions.
