I was a member with them for a trial run, had no problems. Though you mention no dvd`s, the time it took for them to send the damn things took a long time. Personally, I`d be careful with a few of these sites.

I think the xmas post is slowing things down at the moment. Thing should get back to normal next week. I joined just as the (unreported) postal strike started. Thing just started getting back to normal when along came xmas. So it`s been a bad time to have been in a rental by post company. I should work out the average amount of disks rented during a month to see how the charge works out per disk.

Had a prob with their stupid envelopes where the front arrived and no dvd - e-mailed them Christmas Eve after hours and had a reply after xmas also sent/received another dvd.
So I think I`ll see how it goes over the next month.

I have been having problems also, seems to be taking ages from posting, to them being shown as received at the other end and vice versa.I will give them just this month to get thier act together :-(

hi phlogistan ,it`s not the xmas post they have my dvds back but just have not sent me any since recieving them which is so annoying but no reply`s to my emails is frustrating as their is no telephone number for them.to screenselect members how long does it take when they send out the dvds to get to you?for me it`s normally next day even over xmas, but when sent back always 3-6 days before they recieve them.

Chuck
I get the impression they don`t work Saturdays as nothing seems to get sent out on a Saturday and if you send something back on a Friday it doesn`t show up as back till next week. When they send stuff out it`s often received next day but again slow over xmas. I`ll give them this month to see how it goes.
The last dvd I got they sent on 2/1/04 I received on 3/1/04 which I thought was good but the stuff I sent back earlier not quite sure when is still marked as out to me on the website. I think the last dvd they sent me was in response to my e-mail that a dvd had been lost in the post and nothing I`ve sent back has actually been received / dealt with by them yet.
I only went back to work today and eased myself in slowly so maybe they`ve had a sleleton staff on over xmas and will settle back soon.

I joined mailboxmovies.com. They are generally goo. Unlike other companies they seen to always have someone on hand to speak to on the phone. Their turnaround is good aswell. But for me it`s the customer service team which sell it for me. There`s nothing worse than having no point of contact.

They are cheaper than screenselect and were one of the original rental companies on the net. Been around for a few years.
