Page 1 of DVDPlus.co.uk - delivery times?

There are a number of very positive reviews on dooyoo about DVDPlus.co.uk, most of which mention that orders placed on one day arrived the very next day. I placed mine on Monday, and now it`s Wednesday and I haven`t even received a shipping confirmation, although the DVD was in stock (over a 100 available).

Since this is the first time I have used them I failed to register and hence can`t track my order. However I emailed them about it and haven`t yet received a response. A quick check on their help pages reveals that they (like other cheap online stores) ship from the Channel Islands, and this takes 4-5 days. Why are the reviews wrong, have DVDPlus changed their operations recently?

only saw your post today - dvdplus have been very fast in the past but the email that i got(see below) might explain why they are now quite a bit slower

I probably wont be using them much in future as I dont find the prices that cheap and only used them because of the fast free delivery

cheers peter p. my order has arrived now. I must say I only ordered because of the free fast delivery. The price wasn`t all that cheap given that I had to wait for delivery.

So you ordered on MONDAY and you have already received it by FRIDAY,

and your complaining about delivery times?

Have you ever ordered from Splash!!!! Your order would break their delivery record by about 200%.
