Ordered 3 items, 1 turned up in a cracked case, the other turned up as a VHS and the last said it had been shipped but on further chasing they admitted it wasn`t in stock at their or their suppliers premises!! Net result, I cancelled (over the phone, took names and everything and confirmed with an email), 2 people have promised refunds, 1 insisted that i had already had the money whilst i was looking at my online statement clearly showing nothing had been put back into my account. I have been lied to, they haven`t returned emails, they don`t return calls and they have £16.00 of my money! On top of this, try contacting them on the phone numbers on the web and order confirmation emails and "...this number has not been recognised, please try again...". If they`re still around they don`t deserve to be, but i hope they are until i get my wedge back. Grrr.
Is it just me they don`t like, i have been extremely patient and tolerant for 2 weeks now...
And just to show I`m not some gobby Mr Angry, well done to PLAY.Com. What a wierd concept, you go online, you find what you want, you order it, you pay for it, they deliver it. Fantastically simple. You reading this SPLASH? Know who i`ll be using again...

My orders with Splash have all gone smoothly.....
Glad to hear it RH, however I can (like you) only call it as I`ve experienced it mate and they have had plenty of opportunities to put things right but failed incredibly badly (in my opinion) each time I have contacted them. Spoke to a decent sounding feller today who has said he will put everything right TODAY as they have had IT probs recently. Fingers crossed, may even get me refund!

Have you tried the 01534 number on the website?
I tried for days on the free number - constantly engaged, but got through straight away on other one!
My account showed a DVD shipped which I never recieved.
After speaking to them they said it hadn`t been shipped but would be soon! Waiting on a few others aswell!

I have had problems with Splash on cancelling orders and responding to e-mails. It took me weeks to get a simple pre-order cancelled and to get a reply!
They should allow you to cancel on-line to save much hassle. I think most people don`t have a problem with them or any other retailer until they either receive the wrong item, or it is damaged, etc.

Im not too happy with these guys at the moment in my lifetime Ive ordered 7 things off them two items no problem,but the other 5 are a nightmare.
1) Ordered a `how to play keyboard dvd` after 2 months i decided to cancel but cant get replys or money who knows they may send it.
2) Ordered Sopranos soundtrack 1 month later tried to cancel same problem as above.
3) I ordered `some mothers do `ave em series 1 & 2` at £11.99 each great price i thought and they are a christmas present for someone but you know like they send you an E-mail with a order number so you can track your order on their website well guess what the order number according to them doesn`t exist theyve took the money and Ive no idea if they are getting the videos for me seeing as Ive not long for christmas do i buy them from HMV,Virgin etc.
4) I also ordered Will young in concert DVD (One of presents for girlfriend) now its not actually released till the 12th DEC but the order number is invalid as you can see this is causing problems and Id get more response from a dead armadillo at the moment.
So c`mon Splash bad customer service will be the death of you at least tell us guys whats happening with our DVDs,CDs etc

If you ordered by Credit Card, tell the cc company that it is non-delivery on all. They will credit you back if they are good are take up to sixty days to allow Spalsh to prove that they were shipped and then credit you back.
If you do not use cc then start to protect yourself.
My `Mothers do ave em series 1/2 have been posted so should have them in time for Xmas just have to get the money off my girlfriend (she thinks Im made of money..and I thought she loved me for my big....feet)
Had to phone up and go through the whole thing again for the third time. Promises have not been kept in regard to refunding money or getting in touch with me via email or phoning at a prearranged time. Absolutely useless (IMO), I have spoken to 2 people who claim they "don`t know anything it as it`s only my first day!!!" Like thats my problem, train them up before letting them loose on customers, always very polite but each one says they`ll do something "this time I`ll take it on myself to do it for you Mr....". If you`re not gonna do anything just tell me where to get off and I`ll go through the small claims procedure.
Oooofff, rant over, beer being consumed, weekend being slowly slipped into...aaaahhhh....Have a great weekend all and thanks for your interest so far.
