DVD Rental by Post

Can anybody recommend some decent companies to rent DVD`s from on-line by post? Which is better- one off fees or a monthly subscription?

Thanks!

Hi there, I`ve been using this company for about 6 weeks now (it was recommended to me after I asked pretty much the same question) and can`t fault it. £15 a month for unlimted rental of DVDs! You can pay a higher amount depending on how many you want at a time (£15 gets you two) but their service is so fast that you`re never without a new DVD to watch. I set up my account on a Thursday and had my first disc by Saturday!

As I said, I can`t fault them. It`s also very good renting DVDS because it saves you forking out £20 for a disc that turns out to be rubbish ( I rented The Big Hit and it was bloody awful).

Let me know how you get on!

Wee side note: Just got my tickets for this year`s Edinburgh Film Festival. Amongst other things, I`m attempting a triple bill that consits of 2 japanese horror films and an Altman style ensemble comedy. Anybody else going to see anything?

These are pretty good. You can hire discs one at a time or you can pay a set fee every month, depending on the number of disc`s you want out at a time.

I can recommend DVDOptions. In fact, I have done openly on my site and in the following thread:

Never ever had a problem with them, nor has anyone that I know.

I can recommend DVDOptions as well. They do give you option to keep the DVD but there prices are a bit high.

I second in-movies. I have been using them since january i think and it is well worth it. I now rent most movies before i buy because it is so much more convenient and cheap. you just add loadsa movies to your list and they send them to u 2 at a time. Delivery is quick. Sometimes i manage to get thru 4 films in a week with my £15 per month membership.
