Page 1 of router problem (related)
PCs & Mobiles Forum
Hi again guys
Ok this is related to my earlier post, I now find that when I reboot the router its fine for a short time then it goes back to being really slow, then there is no service (its connected to the internet but there is no DNS? What ever that is?)
Thanks guys
Should people post in the other thread for the identical problem or this `related` one? Or see if your ISP sees a problem?
Another thread may also help.

i opened this thread to try and generate new interest, yea i now think its eitjer the router having trouble trying to configure the ip address or my isp which tbh have been not much help, they say the line test is ok but i dont think that ip address` is nothing to do with the line being ok?
Nothing to add as such.. other than a bit of `forum advice`...
Starting a new thread on the same subject is not the way to generate `new` interest. It will have the opposite effect. If you really feel it`s being ignored but there`s something someone may offer, try a `bump` of the original thread. Leaving it more than 3 or 4 hours before bumping or opening new threads is usually OK though.
Or try posting in other threads too other than just starting `Help me!!!!` ones. :)

Hi again Ste
Update the internet seems to be working fine, and I got 4 mb download speed, its very odd I nearly went to buy a new router, but over christmas web pages started to behave themselves, and videos hardly seem to buffer, so touch wood** I hope its going to stay the same!
I seem now to believe it was an ISP issue even tho they kept telling me the line was fine....fingers crossed
