Finding the `mac` address from wireless device
Hi, ok I got my mrs a netbook and was wondering how do find the `mac` address for it for using it wireless? I have looked underneath but theres just the windows os code.

I had to do the same as my Samsung NC10 netbook did not have any MAC address sticker either.

Worse case scenario with no label - Turn off security temporarily on your router, let your wifi device connect & track the desired MAC address down in the router logs, I some times do that as a cut & paste job when configuring a "reset" router.
I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.
