Hi,
having just bought a 32"lcd, i wanted to try it for playing vids from my pc via vga but dont want to go thru the hastle of changing the cables round everythime. so i bought a vga splitter lead - this resulted in good pics on the tv but fuzzy pic on the monitor.
what do u guys use or is there another [inexpensive] option?

thanks

tbh, the cheapest/easiest/best solution is probably for you to buy a cheap gfx card with dual output.

hope this helps.

if it is not to late,
Many laptops have s-video too.
You can then feed two displays the same thing together

My brother uses a VGA splitter to two 19" monitors at the same time but it vastly reduces the power (or the power of the signal) going to each which meant that the brightness needed to be bumped up to full on both monitors. That may be part of the problem, the resolution your computer is set to could also be the problem. If they don`t have the same aspect ratio/optimum resolution/refresh rates that could be could be causing the blurring. It`s probably going to insult your intelligence but, have you had a play around with the display settings?

Cheap KVM (Keyboard/Video/Mouse) switch and if not required, dont connect the keyboard and mouse.
Switch to whichever display you want to use at that time.

Or as Ogs sed get a dual display card (might even have DVi or HDMi dependant on TV and get better quality)
