Page 1 of Help Please...Adobe Flashplayer/Shockwave Player

O.K. guys..( and Girls )...in the most easiest of idiot speak will someone please tell me why my Adobe flashplayer and shockwave player has dissappeared from my computer and when i try to install it again from Adobes website it saye ..` installation complete ` BUT it actually has not installed therefore not letting me view any material which needs flashplayershockwave player...this has only occurred in the past week so i suppose somewhere along the line something ( I KNOW NOT WHAT OR HOW ) has removed my old flashplayer and shockwave player , which i,ve never had trouble with before now...remember i AM NOT very technical so real idiot speak please....thanks Moods

If you can find the folder where the program is loaded , right click it and look at properties to see if it says anything about it coming from another computer and may be blocked.If so there should be an unblock button. [ give it a try.]

sounds like you downloaded it but not installed it goto the folder you
downloaded it to and install it (also use a reg cleaner to make sure you
get rid of any left over bits from earlier versions)
