was about to conect my pc to the hd lcd tv when using the normal pc monitor cable when i was told you can get a lead to connect the dvi output on my graphics card to the hdmi on the tv and it would be better quality because it is digital rather than analogue.
to be honest i have no idea if this is true or not, anyone got any advice or could point me in the right direction, or should i just use the monitor cable.
i will be watching mainly movies and tv episodes on the tv if that helps. :)

I have a fairly decent (albeit a few years old) monitor that will accept both connections - and a gfx card that will also output both. I have tried both and have to say that I didn`t really notice much of a difference.
If you`re currently using a VGA connection and don`t experience any ghosting or dodgy colouring then I doubt you`d notice any improvement.
