Page 1 of Best site for CD front covers...??

I`ve had a quick look at sites for CD covers but they all charge for the privilege! Are there any good free sites?

Depends what you want them for.

I just want them for my album art on the digital track. I use iTunes to get the album art, then have found a way to rip out the jpgs from the .itc files they provide.
This means that I can attach the artwork to the .m4a or .mp3 file and it can be used across other music apps.

If you`re just after a jpg for something other than iTunes, why not use Amazon ?
Go to the entry for the album, enlarge the cover, and then right click and save picture as...
should work for most mainstream albums.

`Course it might be illegal in some way, but I`m not sure how

Trouble with the Amazon ones is that they`re not consistent.
Sometimes they`ll be a great image, other times it`ll be very small or just badly scanned (on the skew). So far I`ve been quite impressed with the cover art from iTunes - especially when I can rip it out to a jpg.
