It will be a fraud one, somebodys trying to get passwords and stuff, get them all the time, ignore it, if you look wording theres probably spelling mistakes, not addressing you by your name, if you run the cursor over links, you will see the urls are not quite right. I get them a lot if just bought stuff from ebay or sold anything. If you have answered it, log into paypal and change you passwords at once.

i think some basic info is needed here guys. one point you need to always bear in mind, Never log onto a website via a received Email & i mean Never Ever always go to the site via your normal favourites link.

i only say this because i got the feeling that if you where a paypal user you would have loged in via the email, & thats the way you get robbed. (& i really mean robbed, these arseholes will clear your bank account given 20 minutes)

hope this helps.

Another thing to remember as well is,if you sell something on Ebay and have been paid by Paypal,do not assume that the item paid for email is from Paypal.Always access your Paypal a/c from my Ebay to make sure your the payment has been credited before you ship the item.

What I meant was ,once an item is sold on Ebay, the buyer gets all your details and they use your email address to send you a mail supposedly from Paypal saying the item has paid for.If you despatch without checking your paypal a/c,you could do your self serious damage.I sell some stuff on Amazon and its much safer.Amazon collect the money for you and pay it into your bank a/c(No listing fees, but quite high commission) Lately, our Westafrican friends are trying their scams on Amazon. In the last 3 days I have sold 2 items, but the payment has not cleared.Because Amazon take care of the payment,I assume someone is trying to buy them with fake or stolen creditcards. The scammers then send a message to you via the Amazon message board saying the payment is delayed because Amazon have wrong credit card details. If you reply to that email, they have your details and lo and behold,it is follwed by a fake Item sold,Despatch now email. If you dont check your Amazon a/c to see if a payment has been actully credited and send off the item, youve lost.Just thought I`d post this to alert others who sell on Amazon.

It`s a phishing email designed to get your card/account details.

PayPal always send to your name not dear customer etc..

Don`t even read them as you will just get more just delete them or add them to your spam filter
