Page 1 of NTL and a wireless router

Hey guys

I wonder if anyone can help. A relative has just brought a Dynamond wireless router, for use on NTL broadband.

After following the instructions to the letter, everything seems to work fine for a few hours, at which time the internet gets disconnected, and are unable to reconnect to the internet.

A simple call to NTL should sort idea, yes? NO, the hotline said that the broadband has little pauses, which causes the internet to disconnect, and the router stops the connection being made again.

Is this true? Has anyone else had this problem? I`m very dubious of NTL after a previous bad experience

I don`t have any problems like that with my netgear router.

:/ sounds like bulls*** to me, i`ve never had that problem.
