Page 1 of Nokia sat nav ?

I remember a while ago a thread about turning your 6680/6630 into a sat nav .

I`m finally gonna get around to sorting it out for my 6680 and tips on which blue tooth gps unit to get ?

This is the one i use with my nokia 6260 (Symbian - the same as 6680) and it works great with Tom Tom

Used a 6630, bluetooth GPS (cheap one) and TomTom recently went to Wales and back with no problems excellent, only needed it once we got to Magor Services, but it directed us to a wedding in the middle of nowhere. On way back used some "b" roads, so farmers wondered what these English were doing going through their farms :D , still got us back though.

Brother now has one.

16 or 32 channel not quite sure which to go for ?

^^ I think 32 would be better right? I don`t know much about these, but I assume, the more channels, the more signal you can pick up???

I got one (not this one) from eBay, think it cost me about £40-£50. Works great with my 6630.

PS. If your TomTom doesn`t work, give me a shout. ;)

Did that come with the software, or did you have to get that separately? I`ve been thinking about doing this for a while, but has to be cheap. :D

Seperately mate. Which phone are you going to use for Sat Nav. Is it a Nokia 6630/6680?
