Bluetooth Phone Virus Warning ...

Some cock suck sent me a bluetooth virus by name of CARIBE.SIS last night whilst i was at a concert in London perhaps unknowingly from reading up about this one, i had the good fortune to not unpack this little gem and a google search today confirmed my suspicions. I never really thought this would ever happen to me, the occasional photo nasty/nicey yes but not a virus. In my case i just deleted it with no side effects just be warned people not every bluejacking ends in a picture of some pert breasts or selection of underwear being modelled.

bluetooth is far superior to IR but people need to be a little more educated in relation to security, just like email, you should never open unknown content.....

I accidentally sent the video of the monkey peeing into his own mouth to some random person in a pub a few weeks ago. That`ll teach em for being one of 20 "NOKIA 6230"s in there. Always rename your phone.

Correct Ogster,

BT - better bandwidhth and range. I don`t know why people make misguided comments here and don`t back up what they say.

Yes also a lot of education is required but sometimes you can`t really educate the people who let curiosity get the better of them. I have lost count the amount of times I have pulled my hair out from warning people about opening up attachments and they agree and still end up doing it!
