how do i no if a number is active or not when i ring the number it just goes to answer phone i have texted but not sure if they are getting them or not the network is orange ?

You didnt meet someone out who gave you the number to the scott mills one did you? :D
If you get a voice mail box wouldnt that mean the number was active?
