Page 1 of Nero 6 Reloaded problems

I have been using Nerovision Express inNero 6 reloaded for about 12 months to edit video`s and dvd`s sucessfully. It has worked perfectly.
However about 3 months ago I experienced a fault. After editing a dvd and burning it, when it was played back on a dvd player a slight hesitation occurred at each of the chapter marks.
Thinking that the programmet had been corrupted I deleated it and re installed.
Unfortunately the fault still occurs.

Help

Where is the file from? I suspect it`s a `backup`?
What you`re seeing is actually a false layer break at the chapter points.
Does it only happen on the files you`ve already got or any new ones you try to do?

Don`t think the problem is to do with Nero.
Do you use DVDRemake?

I had no end of troubles with nero. Like you it started going wrong after a year. I managed to get a copy of the free nero burning rom that comes with dvd writers. It`s a bare bones edition that is rock solid. I now use seperate progs for dvd creation.

the only thing i use in nero is nero burning rom :) use dvd shrink for "proper" dvd`s but if it`s .avi`s my mate uses nero to convert, but i never bother, to many hassles, especially when i have divx players in every room ;)

I was having problems using Nero a couple of weeks ago but I downloaded a WinXP update driver from the Nero site and now everything`s ok (fingers crossed!).

Try downloading the driver.

The file was an original.
The problem now happens with all files I try and use.
When played back on the computer using showtime they run OK with no hang up, but on either my DVD player or recorder their is a slight hang up at each chapter.
The irritating thing is that for quite a while all was well (6 months) then for no reason I started to get hang ups on items I produced.

I don`t use DVD remake at present.

I don`t think the problem is with Nero.

Try putting the file through DVD2One. Burn that and try on your player..

Thanks for your advice.
I got a free copy of nero with my DVD writer but unlike yours it did not work well.
I went out and bought a full licensed copy and this is the one I am working with.

I have looked at the Nero site and could not see a driver download for XP, was it another site or is my mind finally expiring.
