DVD Shrink
Probably the best free software there is. Or is all software free? :o

I have DVD Shrink 3.2 and was using it with Nero 6 but I am now encountering problems whilst burning ("Error Reading Data" message appears during burning) therefore I`m thinking about a different combination of software. Or will DVD Shrink work with a copier other than NERO???

Sounds a Nero issue? Or some sort of protection..
Try going to an image and burning using DVD Decrypter.

Spooky though, tried googling for you and one of the results was this. Didn`t see it first time around..

i had a similar (if not the same) problem a while ago, my prob turned out to be the dvd drive, it would seem to copy the image to the hard disc ok then fluff up when it tried to burn it back, giving read errors, only did it on some discs & not others but gradualy got worse so i tried doing the whole thing just using the burner drive (an NEC) & the problem discs all copied ok :/ so i swapped the reader out (an msi burnstar) tho the msi drive is still being used without issue in my sons pc, tho tbh, it doesn`t get used regularly & never for copying dvd`s anymore.

any dvd

this will get around regions and copy protection. 15 day trial then £21 .. (no cracks available for this one!) But for the £21 it`s worth it. Get`s around Copy protected cd`s, regions and RCE and makes sure your drive doesn`t get permanently locked to a region! brilliant.

dvd shrink

this will rip and burn the dvd...and it`s FREE!!!

nero works with dvd shrink and will automatically burn the disc as part of the dvd shrink process

Nero isn`t free..but if you know where to look free copies are available (But you didn`t hear it from me ;-) )and it`s great!

that`s all you need!

Most of the people I know use dvd shrink and the nero and any dvd combo. and the results are astounding.
