Is it just me or are mobile phones too complicated to operate now???????
Im an Orange customer and have just recently upgraded from a Nokia 6100 mobile to a Siemens CX65 mobile. I have owned a couple of Nokia mobiles in the past so thought I`d try another brand for a change. What caught my eye with the Siemens was the camera & video options.
Now , what gripes me is that I reckon there is TOO much you can do with the phone! When Im on the home page and access the menu this then takes me to sub menus which also have their own menus and so on! I`ve also either suddenly become a `Billy no mates` and everyones suddenly stopped sending me text messages or everyones sending them to me at the same time at around 3.30am every morning!!! Somehow I can either send an SMS , MMS or an e-mail...but also I can compose a picture message which comprises of a picture & text which takes me a quarter of an hour - only to be greeted with `ERROR` when I try to send it! I have what seems to be thousands of ringtones but can I pick and choose one to use as my own personal ringtone? Can I heckers like! All Im left with for my ringtone is a normal boring `RING RING`....bye bye to my chav/bling status!!!!!!! When I have used my house phone to ring my mobile to check that it is actually still working it takes me about 3 to 4 goes to actually get through! Before I do get through I get the message `The number you have dialled is out of use...etc` when its blatantly not coz I can see that its on in my own hands!!!!!!!!!
This is only the tip of it! There is actually loads of other stuff I can do when or if I can be bothered to have a look at them but if I cant even do the simple things then whats the point????
Makes me wish I still had my first ever phone I bought in May `99 which could only make phone calls and send text messages but worked a treat!!!!!!
Theres one...set for stunk!!!
