RE: CAN ANYONE RECOMEND A GOOD PHOTO PRINTER.
After reading rave reviews a few months ago I bought a
Epson Stylus photo 830U printer. I think I paid about £69
It really is an excellent printer and the cartridges are cheap to replace
I dont know if you can still get hold of this model, but its well worth a look
Gary
Ive just checked Amazon they sell it for £69-99 inc delivery.

RE: CAN ANYONE RECOMEND A GOOD PHOTO PRINTER.
If you want the capability to print directly from your Digital Camera memory card: Epson R300
If you don`t need camera connectivity, Epson R200
Difference between the two is the card readers and about £30.
Personally...can`t see why anyone wouldn`t go for the 300, but that`s just me :)
BTW, they both do A4 photo quality and also print directly to the face of inkjet printable CDR/DVDR ;)

i`d second the R300 superb printer + cheap ink (£8.99 for six carts ) & of course theres the fact it can print directly to cd-r/dvd r :D

I`ve got the Epson R300 too and the pictures from my 5MP Nikon Coolpix 5400 are absolutely outstanding on premium-quality glossy photo paper.

how`s the quality like?
I assume you are printing on those white printable cd/dvd
does the ink smudge or anything
cokie enjoy
RE: CAN ANYONE RECOMEND A GOOD PHOTO PRINTER.
the quality is excellent when printing to disc, providing you use a good "printable" disc, as for smudging, just the same as when printing on paper. it``l smudge if you get it wet etc, never had a problem otherwise :)

RE: CAN ANYONE RECOMEND A GOOD PHOTO PRINTER.
the epson r300 is available from comet online for about £95 bought one last week for the father in law i have the r200 which is superb the only thing that lets these printers down is the cd/dvd trays tend to go dodgy and stick best cartridges for these are man of media which are £15.99 per set off ebay ive had nothing but trouble with the cheaper cartridges etc but i would recommend these 2 printers defo.
RE: CAN ANYONE RECOMEND A GOOD PHOTO PRINTER.
£85 from comet online and amazon.co.uk now
RE: CAN ANYONE RECOMEND A GOOD PHOTO PRINTER.
I`ve been fairly happy with the Epson Stylus Photo 890 (a few years old now - but costing more for cartridges). I would be interested to see how mucy better the R200 or R300 is, as I`m now printing more photos.
Thanks
