How to save Address book in Outlook Express, & perhaps the emails

How do you save the Address book (& maybe your emails) in Outlook Express. I have gone to ...Outlook Express...File...Export...Address book. I have then clicked on "Microsoft Exchange personal Address book" & "Text File (Comma Separated Values". I cannot find the `wab` file` it makes & the `Text file` reads like a load of letters making it difficult to read. I have gone into... My Computer...C` Drive...Programme files.....Outlook Express & `wab` file. I have burnt this file but when I put the disc onto another computer (also the file) all I get is the new computers address book. Any help welcomed.

There is way to do it manually - but I don`t know it!

Try the trial version of Outlook Express Backup:

www.outlook-express-backup.com/

The trial will only work for 30 days - but if you`re just moving details from one machine to another, that should be plenty of time.

This is for e-mails: On the Tools menu go to Options. There is a tab for Maintenance - there is a button for Store Folder. You can use this to change the location to make it easier to back up. I think you can copy from and back to the folder you choose.

I got this from an earlier post here somewhere.

Maybe somebody could add more?
