anyone bought a acer travelmate 246 lc from tescos. seem to be cheap but are they any good??? opinions ASAP

I got an Acer travelmate 244 last year elsewhere. Its ok. Not blindingly fast, generic graphics etc.
The screen is not as bright as the £2k IBM I use for work but then it cost £600. It gets a bit hot and is heavy.
It has never (touch wood) crashed.
Seems reliable and reasonably well put together. Though the rubber "feet" have fallen off.
