No guarantees but try this
Press the open button on the front of the player to open the drive tray
Press the setup button on the remote control
Using the left button on the remote change the display to the Preference Page
Press the down button on the remote to highlight the set tv standard
Using the remote press the buttons 4,9,5,4,0 in order one at a time You may need to do this step quicker or slower to get it right
The onscreen display will display the currently selected region
Using the up and down buttons on the remote change this to region 0
Press the setup button on your remote control
Power off your player
Power on your player

region 0 is the same as region free, and so your region 0 machine plays everything

I have a Hikona TC-1400 tv/dvd combi which i would love to make multi-region but I haven`t found a code or anything to enter. If anyone can give me this help it would be much appriciated. I know someone out there has hacked these already so thanks in advance for your help. 8)

Hi guys any one managed to make this dvd truly a region free device without the counter running and without the manufacturers counter running down each time it is used to play dvd from different regions
