Woot! About time too.....I`ve been on T-Mobile PAYG for a couple of months now and it`s pretty expensive.

Virgin`s GPRS rate is 0.5p per Kb in comparison to T-Mobile`s 2p!!

Time to get my T630 unbranded and my Virgin sim dusted off!

:)

Yep, we switched to Virgin from T Mobile last December, miles cheaper for payg if T Mobile switched you to their new 30,20,10p tariff. I asked at the time about MMS becoming available on Virgin.

They told me it`s not a case of them dragging their heels, but that as they`re a virtual network running on T Mobiles` network, T Mobile are reluctant to allow them access to the premium services ie: gprs and mms.

They told me they were in negotiations and that it should come online during the summer...which it has.

The settings for you phone are on the Virgin website which you use to set up the Profiles, if you phone isn`t a very recent one which is already configured. I set mine, my wifes, and sons up in about 20 mins. It worked great first time, more than I can say for T Mobiles` MMS which I never got to work, even after spending an hour on the phone to tech support going through the settings. They blamed it on problems with that model of phone (Siemens MC60) which I found very strange, seeing as they were doing massive advertising selling it as an MMS phone. :)

Mark. :)
