Westy`s review and discussion thread on the 6230 can be found here.
One obvious difference is that the 6820 has a full QWERTY keyboard whereas the 6230 doesn`t. I don`t know the other differences but I`m sure the 6230 is far superior in quite a lot of sense - especially screen, MP3 ringtone support, etc. I`m pretty tempted by 6230 myself.

i have the 6230, and it`s an excellent phone, mp3 player/video player etc etc etc, the mmc support is essential for the mp3`s and will happily accept a 256meg card, (or even 512meg) superb bettery life very highly recomended :)

I was thinking of getting the 6820 a few months back. Either that or a 6600.

Anyways, after reading a threead on here (somewhere!) i was told that the 6820, alhtough having the qwerty keyboard, was not a good phone as the programming behind it was pretty naff, so I went for the 6600, whihc I`m very please with.

If I`d have waited another month or tow though, I`d probably have gone for the 6230 as it seems a very neat phone, although the screens a bit small for photos (keep an eye out for the new 6620 - a newer tweaked version of 6600 hitting shelves soon)

I think it`s a testament to Nokia`s design and UI ethics that the 6230 is as good as it is, (and rightfully deserves to be). Despite the fact that the menu`s and design are typically Nokia, the ease of use and the amount of spit and polish that`s gone into the phone makes an utter mockery of any other phone out there right now in my eyes.

Ok, the camera is not the greatest, (tho still great), and the screen is a little small to do the new technology behind it justice, but this is still superb phone in every way.
