I just did a search on here to see if anyone had mentioned a PC I`m wanting to know about and found this link.

Hope it helps.
:)

It`s only a point of view...

You do realise that `Supanet optimised` means it`s locked to their internet service (called Supanet)? If you try to dial another ISP, such as Freeserve, it won`t let you.

It`s quite easy to get around (see here) - but personally, I wouldn`t want to buy a PC from a company which pulled a crappy stunt like this. Heaven knows what other hidden `delights` they`ve included! :/

I won`t go anywhere near Tiny - although the spec. looks reasonable, one thing you can guarantee with Tiny is that some of the components will be inferior brands. A £1000 will get you a lot of PC right now and there are far better buys than Tiny - Toys`r` Us have got good write ups and then there`s the likes of Mesh etc - BUT DO NOT give your £1000 to Tiny (there`s a million horror stories ! ).

Try Dell, just got my daughter one a month or so back for £350. OK spec and does play 3d games but not as fast as the latest screamer.

My advise is to stay just off the cutting edge and save a fortune, the differance in performance will be minimal and unless you play the latest games all the time you wont notice it.

BTW if you want the latest games buy a PS2 or XBOX.

Cheers for your input fellas :)

Looks like i`ll give them a miss then. Asked somebody at work, who knows a bit about pc`s and he says the same thing.

It does look like a good machine, but have to say Tiny are well known for bad manufacture, using seconds/copy parts and terrible customer service. if you want an all singing all dancing super machine I would recomend building it yourself or at least a local computer shop (not pc world or time etc) building it for you, chances are you will get an even better deal and get good, guaranteed parts.

Give dabs a try for parts, can highly recomend the dabs value full tower chasis, for £29 it includes a 420w power supply and front usb 2 connections, you cant even get a power supply alone for that normally. Or for a ready made machine try carrera, they will build you one to your chosen spec rather than telling what you can have and I think they now have a minimum 2 year warrantee

All the best

Ger.
