How do I write a DVD of mp3s

theclaretvillain (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 4th March 2004, 19:42

In the past I have written a CD of mp3s so that I can have lots of tracks at a party without having to change the CD so often. I`ve used Nero to write the CD. It played fine in my Toshiba DVD player.

In my ignorance I thought I would write a DVD of the same kind with even more tracks. I have written an ISO DVD rom of the mp3s but my DVD player says "disc error".

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, dont just say everything :(
and what I should do

Any help gratefully received

Very few DVD players support playback of MP3 on DVD - head over to dvdrhelp to find one that does.

I doubt you`re doing anything wrong - it`s probably just the player.

Although most current DVD players can play MP3s from CD, very few will play them from DVD. The ones that do are mostly £40 Chinese cheapies, not "big brand" makes like Toshiba.
