Page 1 of Whats best to clean a TFT PC screen?

Mine is starting to get a bit grubby but I`m not sure what to use to clean it.

i needed something a bit more drastic, but the screen look`s better than new now, tho it goes without saying you do it at your own risk :D

Right, I`ll just go and get my brillo pad then - sounds a bit drastic for dust though.

Yup - since the screen is undoubtedly plastic, don`t use anything abrasive or you`ll scratch it. A soft duster will be fine.

I wear glasses and find that my big lens cloth from Specsavers is ideal. I also have a little squirty bottle antimist cleaner for my glasses. A tiny spray of it on the screen works a treat too, or just spraying it directly onto the cloth, then using that to clean the screen works too.

I use a bit of lick and a hanky :)

baby wipes... if you get fragrenced even makes the place smell nice!!! try superdrugs own only £1 a pack at the moment... :D

baby wipes are also the best thing for leather furniture :D much better than the "specialist" ones you buy from the shop as baby wipes condition & moisturise the leather (also works on leather coats etc)

I just use a damp cloth once in awhile when it gets grubby marks on it.

Has anyone tried using compressed air in a can?
