STOP : C000145 Unknown hard error, Unknown hard error

My computer just died on me earlier. When I went to boot it up, it stayed on the "loading XP" screen for a while (you know, the one where the little green bar scrolls across), then after that the screen goes blank for a short while, then after a little more waiting the following message appears on a blue screen - "STOP : C000145 Unknown hard error, Unknown hard error" I was just wondering if anyone knows what the problem could be is? I`ve not changed any of my BIOS settings and all wires seem to be connected right so I just don`t know what has happened. Thanks, Chris

Try booting into safe mode (Is it still F8 on XP?) just before the OS starts loading hit F8, & see how far that gets you.
&/or disconnect PC hardware ie Cards in the expansion slotsCD WriterDVDUSB Devicesadditional HDD (unless you have the paging file spread over the HDDs) & see if you can narrow it down that way to the faulty item.
Needless to say dont d/c anything internally while its powered up.
