Page 1 of Help needed re DVD Recorder Software

OK this is driving me mad I have installed a new dvd recorder a Panasonic SW9581- C

I should be able to use the ram function as a drag and drop with a 4.7 gb disk but so far I can only burn to the disk via Nero.
I have updated the drivers for the drive but I kow I must be missing something eg SOFTWARE.
Can anyone recommend a good program which would allow the e drive to be seen as another hard drive and allow me to drag and drop.
Can I add the drive is working fine and has installed Ok but the main reason for this is to back my music up easily .

Can I just add I have tried to format the disk using INCD from Nero but it will not recongnise the media , so that path will not work ?

They name a SW 9571, don`t know if it`s the same or not. I really wish I could help further. I don`t suppose SVC have any idea where to get software from?

I seem to remember I had to format mine as FAT or something like that to drag & drop. Once done it really is a piece of cake.

stomp record now max 4.5 allows you to drag & drop straight into the writer

Shaggy is that generally better than Nero which I use now ?
