Page 1 of AVG (free) Anti-Virus oftware
PCs & Mobiles Forum
Have had this on my 4 year old(dinosaur) PC for few months, it is regularly updated and works OK(not that I`ve ever had many probs with my PC). Do you think its OK to get rid of the original Norton Anti-Virus I`ve had from the start? There is only 3 Gb of hard drive space so I am constantly checking for stuff I can get rid of.
Cheers in advance guys
Peter

I`ve used AVG for about 2 years and have had no problems with it. It works a treat! Get rid of Norton I say.

Seconded.
RE: AVG (free) Anti-Virus oftware
I have been using AVG for about six months and find it is very good. I no longer use my previous antivirus software (McAfee anti-virus).
Hi Biagio,
I`m using AVG 6.0 with Windows Me, works a treat and informs me when virus database is out of date, and downloads latest version. Pretty good for a freebie.

I have AVK (AntiVirenKit). I think it`s made by a german company called Tandem Verlag.
Is this the same, and is it any good?
I have Norton on my PC and it`s license is up for renewal in a few weeks
Can somebody tell me where you can get AVG Anti- Virus software?
Is there a web address?
Thanks in anticipation
