I really like Yes and and a mate recommended I check out Rush too. Are they at all similar to Yes? I bought the Hemispheres album, think I`ll listen to it tonight. Cheers for the reminder :)

Can`t wait - Its been way too long since they came over here. I can hardly believe that it`s over 20 years since I first saw them live.
I hope the set matches the length of Rush in Rio!

RIchmach,
Seen Yes a good few times and think they`re great but they`re not really too similar to Rush. Both done some great Prog stuff but Rush don`t tend to do such long `epic` tracks as Yes do/did.
Hemispheres is a great album but do yourself a favour and get Moving Pictures. I think it`s one of the best albums ever. Tracks like Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, Limelight and The Camera Eye stand out. Also check out Signals.
AhIS, was that for Grace Under Pressure? Sad but I was only 14 and was listening to OMD..
Yeah, a listing as long as Rio would be gooood.. Can`t get into Vapor Trails enough though and would bring back a few classics like Subdivisions and The Weapon..

SJ - It was Signals. This was also chosen as the first ever complete album laser show at the London Planetarium - I went 3 times and ever since I see those lasers going whenever I listen to it.
I agree with you about Vapor Trails (and also Test for Echo), but they do seem to have kept a great cross section across all the albums in the show - and they won`t change that for a 30th anniversary tour.

Blimey - must tell my mum about this - she`s a massive Rush fan (no, really, she is - great being able to buy her Iron Maiden T-shirts for her birthday) :D

I got my tickets yesterday - front block 21st row. I went to Signals all those years ago too & that laser show at the Planetarium. There was one bloke there who was telling his kids that it was a Rush laser show because the lasers all `rush` out at you. Hmmmm...
Can`t wait for September.

Dear me I must be prehistoric. When I think of classic Rush tracks I think of Bastille Day, Anthem and 2112. Never heard a full album after Moving Pictures. Hope all u guys who are going enjoy it.

Moving Pictures is a fantastic album but you`re missing out on some good stuff from the likes of Signals, Grace Under Pressure and Power Windows. Give them a try - you might like them..
