Thought some of you may be interested in this from this months `Which` Magazine.

Widescreen Tv`s Top 3 most reliable brands are...Matsui (98%), Thompson and Toshiba(97%), followed closely by Hitachi, JVC and Panasonic (95%).

At the bottom of the list is Sony, Sanyo and Bush with Sharp way down at the bottom.

Dvd players are generally reliable with JVC and Wharfedale (100%) at top
and Hitachi and Matsui at the bottom (91%)

I reckon that Which`s sample size on which their data is based is statistically invalid.
I cannot belive that Matsui would get top place for reliability in W/S TVs.
I hardly ever see a Matsui W/S model.
Perhaps they found just 2 owners - & neither had developed a fault !

It would be interesting to see where the models from Scan & other players frequently discussed here (e.g. Medion , Mico, Dansai) appear.

Do they give any clue as to how many people replied with info/data on each model ?

Wharfedale DVD 100% ?

Blimey, they can`t have asked any of the first batch of M5 owners then :-)
