Absolute Horse s***!!!!!!!! I work for a northern Sainsbury`s (wont say which one , u never know!!!) and I`m SICK of reading about the kind of bullshit excusess for service thatso-called sound & vision staff are giving customers.SICK I TELL YOU, there thats beter! The Crown is a piece of crusty old dog-s***e compared to the Mico, they don`t even look alike, they shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence, unless it`s " dont get this Crown, go for the Mico instead...........!"
You should go back to whichever "assistant" told you this & recommend he/she gets on with wandering around the shop collecting cardboard!!!
I feel much better now, sorry 4 shouting. ;-)

Hi All,
I have phoned Sainsbury`s customer services on Friday and they said they are expecting some soon. I went yesterday 13.4.02 to a local Sainsbury`s store here in NW London but they did not have any yet.
I will check today and let you know if any available.

BTW: has anybody got a picture of the set? I want to see how it looks if it black or silver. It is a mistry to me so far as I could not find any picture on the net.

Thanks

Jaf

London Colney (M25 North) and Hempstead Valley (M2 Gillingham) both had deliveries on Friday, but beware the option to disable Macrovision is no longer available.

Sorry AWJ72,

my email is nardabla[at].moc.liamtoh

It seems that all of the good budget DVD players in silver, what a shame, my setup at home all in black. I guess I have to put up with one of them being the silve sheep of the family :)

Thanks again.

Hi AWJ72,

Any chance you could mail the review to me too at :

I`m considering getting a mico ( if sainsburys ever get them back in near me!) If not, anyone got any other recommendations? How about the dansai from tesco (852) or the slimline H&B (£129 from amazon) I was considering the Pioneer 444 but then I read on the forums about the mico and thought it was worth a go at haf the price of the pioneer.
Currently I still have one of the original Scan SC2000`s which is ok but suffers from blockiness in the backgrounds sometimes (matrix etc) so I`m looking for something better than that!

Cheers!

I had the Pioneer 444 but on SVCds it crashed twice,it cost me £200-00. I since bought the MICO & it is a far better machine. They are back in stock in Sainsburys but without the Macro option. Unless someone finds another hack it will have to be chipped as with The Pioneer 444. Or a Macro buster at £29-00 will also do the trick...still combined it is £70-00 cheaper than the Pioneer.
