Page 1 of Any help on whether to buy Acoustic Solutions 551 PLEASE!!!

I am unable to source the Mico so it looks like the Acoustic Solutions 551 is my best option - for an extra 30 quid. Any advice from AS owners?

i two have had a 551,not abad machine m,region,rce,but no way of disabling macro.it costs £119.from richer sounds

Richer Sounds have a special on this player at the moment, down to 90 quid. This was in an email I had from them. I can forward it if you like.

I think it`s worth paying the extra for their extended warranty. 20 quid for 3 years or 30 for 5. That should cover you for the life of the player and I think they will refund it if you don`t use it.

I`ve got this player. It does a pretty good job and plays everything. I`ve even heard rumours of a macrovision hack, but don`t have the details.

Hi. There is deffinately no macrovision hack for this DVD player at the moment. I`ve been searching for months to no avail.
