Can anyone comment on the performance of this player - less features than the Acoustic Solutions 551 but is it a better machine?

Given that the Mico 20 is as rare as rocking-horse **** in the shops, is the (actually available) Acoustic Solutions 551 still top of the budget players?

If you have to do the hack yourself is the "multi-region" machine different to the one sold as a region 2 only machine? No point paying for just the hack in my view!
