Anything better than the Toshiba 210e under £200.00 ? Problems with 5.1 output?

Im looking to buy my 1st DVD player. Should I buy the Tosh at £160.00 or is there something better available without lip sync problems?
Im told the Tosh has no 5.1 channel output. Is this a big problem for surround sound

Nearly every magazine I have read gives the Toshiba SD210E the top spot for Budget DVD players.
It was `What Video and TV` Budget DVD player of the year 2001.
The new LG player ,think its the 4950 is top quality and looks fantastic.
It is 148 pounds at unbeatable.
Either of these 2 are the biz.

The issue of whether it has 5.1 output or not really depends on what you`re hooking up to. If you have the Bush Pro 300, you need to have a player with 5.1 decoding.

If you`re hooking up to a DD/dts amp or TV, it isn`t necessary. If you have an old ProLogic amp with matching 5.1 inputs you need one with a decoder.

If it`s just a plain Jane TV (dolby ProLogic/NICAM or mono) or stereo HiFi amp you don`t !

Complicated, isn`t it ?
