Hi I have this system and when I hook it up to my Playstation2 it will only output a prologic signal. It can output the dts signal when selected but the system display shows it is only using the prologic signal.
Any ideas

Are you using ps2 games or dvd`s? Most games are in stereo or at best pro logic, while most dvd`s are dolby digital or dts! You are unlikely to get a dts game yet!

Are you using an optical cable or phonos to connect it up, you can only get dts with an optical cable from your ps2 not phonos!

Hi Yeah I`m using an optical cable, it will play the dts and dolby digital soundtracks but the display on the htk215 says that it is only receiving a prologic signal and only highlights the left front,centre and right front speakers and S it does not seem to recognise the rear speakers.

I Have my PS2 connected to a HTK215 via an optical cable and it plays DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 with no problems. Make sure you have turned the optical output on in the PS2 menu screen. The display on mine says OPT then either DD or DTS , try selecting the AFD menu as this should automatically detect if it is Dolby Digital or pro logic.
