DVD to VHS on Dansai 852

I have to transfer Harry Potter to VHS but i am having a few problems.

Firstly the sound is very poor, sometimes it is very quiet, then it returns to normal level.

Also although the film is playing correctly on the TV it always misses the end of the film, even though the video is still recording.

This is a R2 copy of the film, and the macrovision has been removed in the menu. The sound output is set to analogue and the volume is on maximum. I have also tried another video just in case the one i was using was duff.

Can anybody help?

Recording to VHS on Dansai 852

I`ve managed to get hold of a Dansai 852, i have disabled the macro and it records fine to VHS. What i was wondering was if i record an NTSC disc to VHS is there any way this can be converted to PAL 60.

Also do you have to enable RGB Playback or is this standard

cheers

RE: Sony htk215

I Have my PS2 connected to a HTK215 via an optical cable and it plays DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 with no problems. Make sure you have turned the optical output on in the PS2 menu screen. The display on mine says OPT then either DD or DTS , try selecting the AFD menu as this should automatically detect if it is Dolby Digital or pro logic.

SONY HTK215 SPEAKERS

Can anybody tell me what the thread size is on the rear of these speakers.

Also where is the best/cheapest place to buy wall mounted brackets for these.
