Which Widescreen TV?

Gordon P (Harmless) posted this on Friday, 15th February 2002, 22:49

When I was in currys I saw a Philips 32 PW6006 for £700 and a Philips 32 PW6305 for £600. The only difference I could see was that the 6305 had an s-video input whearas the 6006 did not. Does anyone no what is the difference between the two tv`s are and which is better?

Not sure about the 6305 - but the 6006 can be had for a lot less than £700. 6006 is a fairly new model, not fully flat screen, and I think it does have svideo in, but the inputs are tucked onto the side of the tv rather than the front (a better place, really).
Here`s a link to the Philips site with all the 32" widescreens on - the 6006 isn`t listed, but it`s an update of the 6005, with the addition of a radio tuner.
