No, it only refers to the screen resolution 1080 instead of 720 os Full HD

If you want built in Freeview HD then the TV will have Freeview HD as part of the specs, as opposed to plain Freeview

It`s really just a marketing term, but it usually refers to HDTVs with a resolution of 1920x1080.

Jitender, isn`t it the `p` in 1080p that makes it full HD? 1080i for example, isn`t full HD is it?

Worth noting that Sky HD is 1080i by the way.

The only normal Full HD content (i.e. 1080P) is Blueray disks and perhaps some games.
Digital TV (whether via satellite, terrestrial or cable) requires extra bandwidth to transmit 1080p making it currently rather expensive to implement both in terms of bandwidth and cost of transmission infrastructure to support it.
