I`d be very tempted with this machine too (but with xmas looming money is running low at present).

Would love to hear more about this machine - good and bad.

I also got this player from techtronics and think it`s an excellent piece of kit.

I`ve heard many good things about the LG-3350E and am thinking about buying one. What is the layer change like on it?

Apparently the Sony S-536 player has a very slow layer change which is what put me off buying it.

I`d also like to know whether you`ve used the RGB or S-Video connection, because I`m unsure which is best.

I have not noticed a layer change yet, but would like to check this out for you. How do I now if a DVD definitely has one? Do all single siders definitely have a layer change mid-movie? Any way of telling exactly when the change occurs?

I have a copy of the Matrix if that helps. . .

With regards to the layer change, according to my sister, there is an "occasional" delay (less than a second) while playing some discs.

While enjoying a night at her house watching "The Green Mile" there was only one noticable delay, but it did not detract from the viewing experience at all.

In short, she says, the LG 3350E is a nice bit of kit.

Yes this is a good player but have found it wont play R2 FIGHT CLUB disc 2, and apears to have problems with the R2 APOCALYPSE NOW, it plays the film but wont display a menu.
Apart from that its good player.
